An ambassador of the Tissot range the TXL combines traditional with contemporary chic. This gents watch has a black Arabic dial with a date window at the 6 o'clock position and a seconds hand. The Swiss made quartz movement has seven jewels and is calibre ETA 955.412. The movement has a battery end of life indicator which means that when the seconds hand starts to jump by four second intervals the battery must be replaced within the next two weeks. The watch has a sapphire crystal glass which is manufactured from aluminium oxide and is transparent and colourless. It is so hard it is virtually immune to deterioration or distortion and resistant to scratching and wear or chemical attack. The watch is water resistant to 30 meters meaning it will withstand water splashes including rain and surface swimming. The case and bracelet are made from 316L stainless steel which is selected due to its high corrosion resistance and excellent durability. For example certain steels used in the medical field for the manufacture of implants also belong to the 316L family. The watch has a total weight of 119g. The watch head measures 39 x 30.9mm, depth 7.7mm. The bracelet has a push button release catch.
