A tactile watch from Tissot for outdoor adventurers. The T Touch Expert is a tactile sports watch that is perfectly equipped for adventures in the great outdoors. This robust XL size watch with water resistance to 100 metres comes with six new functions making it the ideal partner for professional mountaineers and extreme skiers and outdoor pursuit enthusiasts. The T Touch Expert is the next of kin to the T Touch and promises to further grow the appeal of this unique family of timepieces. Evolving over the years since the first T Touch was launched in the year 1999 this T Touch Expert has three new features and the highest specification ever. This model has 2 alarms, a perpetual calendar, second time zone, backlight, altimeter and altitude difference meter, compass with azimuth (heading) function and relative and absolute pressure display to see changes in weather (meteo). This watch has a titanium case and beige leather strap with visible stitching. The titanium case is lightweight as the gross weight of the watch including strap is only 82g.
Titanium is used because of it appearance and weight and it is extremely hard. It is resistant to extreme temperature variations and is well known for its anti allergenic properties. The black carbon index dial is protected by the tactile sapphire crystal which is a high quality scratch resistant aluminium oxide crystal with transparent electrodes and anti reflection coating. The case head measures 43.6mm in diameter and 14.6mm in depth. The watch is water resistant to 100 meters which means it can be worn for surface swimming or in the shower. The movement is Swiss quartz tactile with reference ETA E48.351 and it has a battery end of life indicator. The T Touch expert has a sleep mode which is designed to save the battery life by turning off the digital display and stopping the hands moving. The time keeping is not affected by this function and it is easily turned back on again.

Relative and absolute pressure The barometer function shows the weather change
via the hands and the adjustable relative pressure on the digital display (hpa).
It also has a function for displaying the absolute pressure (hpa).
Altimeter:
Adjustable display of the altitude above sea level in meters or feet.
Altitude Difference Meter:
Functions like a stopwatch and shows the cumulative time,
the cumulative gain and loss in altitude in meters or feet,
the average ascent and descent speed in meters per minute or feet per minute.
Chrono:
Chrono Timing of cumulative times ADD or intermediate times
SPLIT with a precision to within 1/1000th of a second.
Timer:
Countdown from the time that can be set in hours minutes and seconds.
Compass:
Indication of geographic North using magnetic North
and the adjustable declination to the East or West.
Azimuth:
By Adjusting the azimuth the T Touch Expert indicates the heading
which is shown at 12 o'clock.
